MCPSA Welcomes New Kansas City Professional Services Coordinator


The Missouri Charter Public School Association is very pleased to announce that on December 16th, Kelley Barnes will join our organization as our Kansas City Professional Services Coordinator!

Kelley first received an undergraduate degree in Biology from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. In 2006, Kelley moved to Kansas City, MO where she taught General Science for 1 year, and Biology for 4 years. In 2010 Kelley obtained a Master’s Degree in Teaching, with an emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction, from the University of Central Missouri and for the past two years has served as a High School Development Coach and Post-Secondary Coach for Kauffman Scholars, Inc.

Kelley holds a deep passion for ensuring that opportunities are available to improve the education that students receive. Her personal mission is to ensure that all students receive the highest quality education possible. We believe she will be an excellent addition to the MCPSA Team.
