Comprehensive Program

 

Comprehensive Program (Currently St. Louis Area Only)

 

3-year Program—$7,000 (paid in 2 installments–$5000 due w/contract, $2000 due once approval received from DESE)

  • Phase 1—application development through approval (10-12 months)
    • 9 seminars*—1 held each month (Jan, Feb, April, May, June, Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov)
    • 10 hours of consulting
      • Application, educational programing, budget, etc.
  • CharterStart manual—1 copy included (additional copies $500)
  • Additional consulting available at the rate of $100 per hour
  • Review of application by national expert
  • Eligibility for Letter of Application Readiness (see attached page)
  • Associate Membership
  • Phase 2—approval through opening (6-12 months)
    • 3 seminars* for school founders (and school leaders if identified) dealing with operational issues and board training panel discussions
    • Registration for our 8 governing board development seminars (board and school leader)
    • Finance-specific training (Budget, Accounting Software, Outsourcing vs. Internal)
    • 5 hours of pre-opening consultation
      • Enrollment materials, operations, academic programs, etc.
  • 5 hours of New School Leader assistance
  • Additional consulting available at the rate of $100 per hour
  • Associate Membership
  • Phase 3—year one
    • 5 hours of consulting
    • Discounted registration for governing board and school leader development seminars
    • Access to SPED Network and School Leader Network
    • Representation on Board Task Force, Teacher Task Force and Parent Task Force
    • 10 hours of Federal Programs consulting
    • Year One membership

*Seminars will be offered face to face or via webinar and/or webcast

 

2-year Program—$5,500 (paid in 2 installments–$4000 due w/contract, $1500 due after approval from DESE)

Please note this option is for schools that have already received approval or have been endorsed by the Mayor’s office, secured a sponsor and are in the process of being approved by the State Board of Education.

 

  • Phase 2—approval through opening (6-12 months)
    • 3 seminars* for school founders (and school leaders if identified) dealing with operational issues and board development panel discussions
