Slammin’ & Jammin’ for Genesis Benefit Set for Fourth Year

Martina and Genesis students

It’s time for the fourth annual “Slammin’ & Jammin’ for Genesis” benefit, an evening of Mexican fare, margaritas and auctions featuring US Open tickets, Paribas Open tickets and much more, followed on Saturday by the No. 1  Pro Tennis Tournament in KC. The party was named “Event of the Year” by our USTA section, so don’t miss all the fun and the action! See the attached flyer and please buy tickets online!

The party/tournament benefits Genesis School, which serves at-risk youth in the urban core, providing a quality education so these children can achieve success in those early years before heading off to high school. “At-risk” means that many of the students we serve are homeless, multiple grade levels behind, or have special needs that make them “at-risk” for not finishing the 8th grade, let alone finishing high school. But our caring staff and teachers, combined with strong leadership from our board and community support, have made all the difference. Education is truly the key to success for everyone, and at Genesis, the hard work is paying off, one child at a time! Please come out and support our small school! You are truly changing lives!

Why the tennis theme? Students at Genesis play tennis year-round, thanks to USTA!

Thank you very, very much.
