Gateway Science Academy Awarded $10,000 Project Lead the Way and Emerson Grant for STEM

St. Louis, MO., February 4, 2025 – Gateway Science Academy Middle School is very excited to announce that GSA Middle, under the leadership of STEM educator Ms. Jessica Maybearry, has been awarded a $10,000 PLTW Gateway Grant from Project Lead the Way and Emerson.  The grant is awarded to schools in order for them to start or expand their PLTW courses and bring STEM education to more students.  The grant will allow GSA Middle to further diversify PLTW offerings with some new courses and to purchase much needed updates for our existing resources and programming.  GSA Middle is especially excited to expand into PLTW: Automation and Robotics, bringing more learning opportunities for students and enhancing an already amazing award winning Robotics program.
